Fele, NURTW boss, escapes robbery attack in Ibadan
Revealed: Real forces that stopped Magu
SOME powerful interests ranging from past top military brass to
political blocs may have indeed conspired to stall the confirmation of
Ibrahim Magu as the substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC),

because of his insistence on pressing criminal charges against some of
the senators.
This is contrary to the widely held view that the negative security
report from the Department of State Services (DSS), wherein Magu was
adjudged to have failed integrity test, was the sole factor responsible
for his rejection by the Senate.
